前言
Preface:
原本对这趟旅行并没有抱太大希望，心中对想要去的目的有太多的偏见和刻板印象。而当我真正开始时我才意识到这里的事物和人文是如此的美好。不知道何时才能故地重游，那就先把遗憾先留在这里，希望在不久的未来的可以再访。
I didn’t have high expectations for this trip initially, filled with too many prejudices and stereotypes about the destination I wanted to visit. But once I actually started, I realized how beautiful the culture and people here are. I don’t know when I’ll be able to revisit this place, so I’ll leave my regrets here for now, hoping to return shortly.

这趟旅程天天早起真的是太累了，来这里旅行累是我最大的感受。这趟旅程是我和一个在喀纳斯遇见的女生谢文婷一起度过的。说来也蛮巧，原本打算从新疆乘火车去甘肃旅行的，奈何预约不到莫高窟的门票，没办法只能放弃。那我要去哪儿呢？看了看中国地图，该去的地方真的去得差不多了。想了想不如去宁夏和内蒙吧，于是就和她约上了，报了个名。因为真的是不甘心直接就回家，毕竟还有那么一些时间可以浪费在旅途中，绝不愿意回家干待着。
Waking up early every day on this trip has truly been exhausting—feeling tired has been my overriding sensation while traveling here. This journey was shared with a girl I met in Kanas, Xie Wenting. Interestingly, we had originally planned to take a train from Xinjiang to Gansu but had to give up on visiting the Mogao Caves as we couldn’t book tickets. So, where to next? After looking at the map of China, it seemed I had nearly visited everywhere worth visiting. After some thought, we decided on Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, so we signed up together. I really didn’t want to just go home since I still had some time to spare on my travels, and I was definitely not ready to just sit at home.
当让从乌鲁木齐去往银川的途中还发生了一些小插曲，前面一篇文章也提到了。没办法既然遇到这种事情了那就放宽心态，尽量去处理。不管怎么说，最后还是算事比较顺利地开启了这趟旅程。
Of course, some minor incidents happened on the way from Urumqi to Yinchuan, which I mentioned in a previous article. There’s no helping it when such things occur; just relax and deal with them. Anyway, we eventually managed to start this trip quite smoothly.
出发前，导游一直提醒我们要自己多带食物，那边的吃住都非常差，把我和我的小伙伴吓得嘞。我飞机落地到宁夏的时候已经是非常晚的时间了，便利店和超市几乎都已经关门，没办法，我只能从乌鲁木齐带不远千里带了很多吃的过去。她也在宁夏买了巨多零食，泡面还是有自热锅。我俩打算到时候分着凑合着吃呗。
Before departing, our guide had constantly reminded us to bring our own food as the food and accommodation there were very poor, which scared my friend and me quite a bit. When my plane landed in Ningxia, it was already very late, and almost all convenience stores and supermarkets were closed. I had no choice but to bring a lot of food all the way from Urumqi. She also bought a ton of snacks in Ningxia, including instant noodles and self-heating pots. We planned to share and make do when the time came.
从宁夏一路的舟车劳顿，到了第一站的目的地阿拉善左旗。看了西部梦幻大峡谷，融雅丹地貌与雅丹地貌融为一体，在太阳的照射下能呈现好几种不同的颜色，它记录了百万年来地貌的变迁及地质的演化过程，风力与地质的相互作用形成了以沙漠，戈壁为主。我们去看的这天刚好是阴天，天气不是特别好，所以并没有达到我们预期对它的期望。
From Ningxia, after a tiring journey, we reached our first destination, Alxa Left Banner. We visited the West Dream Grand Canyon, where the Yadan landforms merge under the sun, displaying various colors. They record millions of years of geomorphic changes and geological evolution, formed by the interaction of wind and geology, predominantly in deserts and Gobi. The weather wasn’t great on the day we visited—it was cloudy, so it didn’t live up to our expectations.
晚上住的是一个小镇，叫做敖伦布拉格小镇，晚上我们随便在小镇上逛了逛，除了副食品店几乎没有其它的商店开着。逛了一圈也没找到吃的，只好回酒店待着吃泡面。住宿条件，酒店的硬件设施也没有导游之前跟我们说的那么差，估计是因为我们住的是镇上最好的酒店吧?。
At night, we stayed in a small town called Aolunbulage. We walked around the town in the evening, and besides grocery stores, there were hardly any other shops open. After walking around and finding nothing to eat, we had to return to our hotel to eat instant noodles. The accommodation and hotel facilities were not as bad as the guide had warned us—they were probably because we stayed in the best hotel in town.
隔天去达来库布镇，去黑城遗址和若水胡杨林。这边的胡杨还没有变黄，但是拍人像还是不错的。遗址那边我们去得比较晚了，走马观花了一下，也没觉得有太大的意思。当然也有可能是没有请专业导游讲解的原因，因为时间来不及了，逛完胡杨林再去黑城遗址离景区关门只剩下30分钟的时间。当然这个胡杨林只是个开胃菜，因为接下来要去的胡杨林叶子已经全黄了。
The next day, we headed to Dalaihubu Town, visiting the Black City ruins and Ruoshui Poplar Forest. The poplars hadn’t turned yellow yet, but they were still good for taking portraits. We arrived at the ruins quite late and just had a quick look around, which wasn’t too interesting. Perhaps it was also because we didn’t hire a professional guide due to time constraints. After visiting the poplar forest, we only had 30 minutes left before the area closed. Of course, this poplar forest was just an appetizer because the next poplar forest we visited was already fully yellow.
住的达来呼布镇，去额济纳胡杨林很近，二道桥到七道桥都很美，叶子全黄了，有一些树木的叶子已经开始掉了。
We stayed in Dalaihubu Town, which is very close to the Ejina Poplar Forest. The area from the second to the seventh bridges was beautiful, with fully yellow leaves, and some trees had already started to shed their leaves.
总之，这次内蒙古之旅的时间很赶，希望下次有机会再来这里去更多的地方。
Overall, this trip to Inner Mongolia was very rushed, and I hope to have the opportunity to come back and explore more places here in the future.
